Good Friday - No Thanks

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

...knew, but not thankful....  How simple, but how profoundly corrupted.  Only Death could rescue us from such a pit.

For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

We proclaim His death with our gratitude. I am grateful today...for His redemption:

• of my foolish heart
• of my darkness
